Flag Football Scholarship Program

We’re pleased to announce the launching of our new Scholarship Program offering a Limited Number of Free 2013 Fall Season Flag Football Player Registrations (Incl. Custom Jersey, Shorts, & Flag Belt) including Free Player Photo Packages (courtesy of BishopPhoto.com) to children of Moorestown attending a Moorestown public school whose families demonstrate financial need. We're currently funding this program through a donation from the Neiswender family and Sponsor contributions remaining from last year. We accumulated 77 ‘Likes’ for our facebook page since launching it last year that enabled us to reach hundreds more in our community. We’re looking towards facebook and other ‘free’ ways to advertise so we can reduce advertising expenses that last year and previous seasons averaged about $1,400 per year. We already cut advertising expenses in half down to $700 for 2013, but we’d like to reduce it further in 2014 and beyond. Every advertising dollar saved is another dollar spent on our players while helping keep registration fees low and our league accessible to the most families.

Welcome to the Moorestown Youth Flag Football League (MYFFL) website. The MYFFL is a community-based recreation program for boys and girls from 1st thru 12th grades who are residents of, or attend a school located in, Moorestown New Jersey.

Our mission is to ensure a fun experience by providing physical activity and encouraging full participation in a non-contact flag football league. Fundamental skills of football will be taught while incorporating values of teamwork, responsibility and sportsmanship. Every participant will be given the chance to learn the fundamental skills of every position and be able to apply those skills in games. The league will ensure an environment of safety, respect and fair play.

The MYFFL plays coed 5v5 non-contact flag football games each fall in sub-leagues separated by grade – currently 1st through 6th, Middle-School, and High School. All skill levels are welcome as the league’s focus is fun, good sportsmanship and safe play for boys & girls while learning the fundamentals of football.

With 6 flag football fields at our Wesley Bishop South complex all teams from the player's grade-league play their games at the same time - creating a great social and community experience for our over 600 players and their family and friends.
